1. Explore
the blue ribbon criteria and share the criteria with Board.
Determine if the blue ribbon school distinction is something
that the Board wants the District to explore for future years.
2. Gather
baseline data on how many students currently participate in
co-curricular and extra curricular programs in the District
(grades 7-12)
3. Review
current offerings and look at the possibility of adding
additional programs for students in grades 7-12.
4.
Continue to encourage and market the PSAT test to 10-11th
grade students.
5. Review
data to determine if academic excellence is achieved. (Goals
defined in Goal #1) Increase in test scores and graduation
rate, decrease in failure rate of courses, decrease in drop out
rate
6.
Decrease the number of students in college remedial courses by
20% in college by creating a course to review materials on the
college placement test.
7.
Increase number of Oppt. Scholars by reviewing student files to
make sure that credits are in order and students are challenged.
8. Offer
additional technical electives at Multi-District for grades
9-10, and at LATI for grades 11-12.
